Kinship Circle Animal Disaster Aid Network
Kinship CIrcle Animal Disaster Aid is a network of independently trained responders, activated during disasters to send volunteers, supplies, and other resources for animal victims. Kinship Circle may work under agreement to deploy volunteers to a disaster zone, as we did for Iowa's State Veterinary Response Team during the 2008 Iowa floods. Or we recruit/manage volunteers for another organization on the ground, as done throughout 2008 Hurricanes Ike and Gustav.
- JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER NETWORK: Submit our online disaster aid form now, so you're on-call when animals need you.
- RELIEF GLOBAL: News and ways to aid animals in disasters as they unfold — tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, fires, war zones, pet food recall... Volunteer opportunities, recruitment/deployment, as called upon to do so.
- GULF COAST: News, needs, stories...related to hurricane-affected animals in Gulf Coast.
- ACTION CAMPAIGNS: Sample-letter alerts about animal protection legislation and companion animal issues.
